What can we do for the global environment?
Overseas Website Top Message. Thank you very much for everyone's sympathies regarding the Great Eastern Earthquake. We are also very grateful to the many countries that have provided aid and rescue assistance for relief efforts in the stricken areas. Japan is now making a national effort to restore and rebuild the Tohoku region that was hit by the disaster. As our company policy "We strongly believe that the customer comes first and that we are obligated to be an innovative partner to society." we are doing our best to help the people and areas affected by the disaster rebuild. This includes the prompt restoration of social infrastructure essential in our daily lives such waste treatment, sewage sludge incineration, might soil treatment and power plant flue gas treatment facilities on top of waste treatment for the afflicted areas and financial donations to help the economy recover. Fortunately, none of our offices or partner companies in the stricken areas suffered damage and we have been able to continue business operations as normal with our branches, offices and partner companies across Japan since the earthquake struck. Furthermore, we will provide safe, reliable and carefully managed services to our clients as we have always done so that the accident at the Fukushima nuclear power plant will have no effect on deliveries and quality. We will do our best to help Japan recover and contribute whatever we can while working hard to provide helpful products, technology and services to people across the globe. We ask for your continued support. George Kanno, President
